Leukocyte Reduction System (LRS) cones contain white blood cells removed from a platelet unit during apheresis collection. Each cone contains 1-2 X 10(9) TNCs. These cones have low concentrations of granulocytes and platelets but are lymphocyte rich. Our data shows an average of 1.5 X 10(6) lymphocytes with 50% CD4+, 25% CD8+, 15% CD14+, and 10% NK+. We provide three different configurations of this product: (1) “as-is” still in the cone, (2) transferred from the cone into a conical tube, or (3) ficoll processed and ready for immediate use. “As is” but transferred to a conical tube.
